In this blog I'm scolding myself and letting the heat warm y'all up. Please think before making a hateful comment or even a hateful post on your FB page. If you're my friend your post likely may appear on my page. Y'all all know that, right? I'm guilty of doing this.
That's why I'm making this public apology. "Okay I'm sorry for doing that. I apologized. Are we good?"
No we're not good. Crud. How did I know I was going to tell myself that? A little explanation to myself might help. Y'all read along.
I see's a questionable comment on I's FB page. Okay. I's quit doin' that for now.
The first thing I concern myself with is, "Is it a threat?" Hmmm. I determine non-threats, and threats first by their wording. Examples following.
Non-threat worded, "Sometimes I get so mad I just want to line them all up and shoot all of 'em." A threat is worded, "I think we should line them all up and shoot all of 'em." Subtle difference.
The first thing I do when this content catches my attention is pray. Short and quick. "God I praise You for Your wisdom. Please help me to discern what this is and what I should do. I ask for help in Jesus name, amen."
A non-threat catches I's attention, I might make a remark in the comments.
If a threat catches I's attention, me, myself and I, will send the suspected heathen terrorist a private message. In the private message I will ask the heathen terrorist to explain the comment. If he, she, it, explains it well enough for me to understand, (A hard thing to do with a man like me that has little patience with the rest of the world because I know I's right all the time.), I will leave the comment on the page.
If the threatening threater acts like a heathen terrorist. I will end the conversation as politely as possible. After that I will contact local law-enforcement in their area. Quickly explain why I called and if they want to look into it, I will make everything, I mean everything, available to them for their viewing pleasure. I'm not going to fool around with someone's life regardless of who they are, what they believe, what they promote, or how rude or ugly they are to me. God has reserved that right for Himself.
I admit that when me and myself contacts law-enforcement it can get a bit confusing. But when I, the center of the universe, gets on the phone, they start listening.
This doesn't mean I think I'm all righteous and perfect. I'm not. But with God's help and y'all's help everything is going to be good. I'm doing what I believe God wants me. I love each of y'all the way God has instructed all of us Christians to love.
Please tell me when I'm doing wrong, or if a comment or post concerns you. I'm not gonna' get offended or mad.
Whoa! How'd I know what y'all were thinking? It's because when you click on this blog I become immediately aware of every thought in your head. So I'll answer just one of those questions I'm now aware of. That question is, "Have I ever contacted law-enforcement about a comment on my blog?
I have once. It was resolved very efficiently and no one's rights were violated. A few of those police and rascals are now my facebook friends and we get along with each other. That's my world. A Paradox, and anyone is welcome here.
God bless and goodbye.
